G'day! 

My name is Kim and yep,  I'm an authorised Marriage Celebrant.  But I'm also a wife, a mum, a keen vegie gardener, a try-hard cook, a business entrepreneur and an ex primary school teacher.   I have two beautiful and successful grown up girls  and I'm hitched to an awesome man who is my best friend, my rock, also an authorised marriage celebrant, and my official wedding day roadie and your greatest asset for your wedding day setup!  We moved from Sydney to the gorgeous Nambucca Valley about 2 years ago, and we have totally fallen in love with the area we now call home.  

I am a laid back, easy going person, I have tattoos and an eyebrow piercing.  I enjoy a good smutty/fantasy/romance/book, I meditate, but I also swear at times, and I bloody love a good strawberry margarita, (ooo and daiquiris!).  Hubby and I love 4WD'ing and camping in our swag, we love to tour and enjoy our beautiful country.  I'm a huge animal lover, I have a special place in my heart for dragonflies (I'll tell you a story about why some time), and I'm known as the crazy chicken lady because I think my chooks are just the cutest fluffy-bums!  I currently have 2 cockatiels and 5 chickens, a good portion of them all rescues.  I would own more animals if it wasn't for my husband, who constantly reigns me in!  (PS. I want a goat... and a highland cow!)

I became a marriage celebrant because I love everything about love!   But in particular, I absolutely adore weddings!   Meeting new couples and learning about how they came to be together and in love is always a fun and sometimes interesting conversation.  But to be the person who then gets to write your love story and then marry you, is just a huge honour and privilege, and I have to pinch myself some days to remind myself that this is my actual job!  WTaF?!?

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, after all 'LOVE really is LOVE' and no two love stories are the same!  I offer a very safe, supportive space for everyone I meet.   I have and always will be a huge supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I enjoy creating beautiful ceremonies that reflect and perfectly express every kind of love and relationship.  Wow I said 'Love' a lot in that paragraph!!!!  

Your ceremony is the perfect opportunity to express your unique personalities and relationship.

Get as creative as you like, besides a few legal words, the sky's the limit!  I'm up for traditional, non-traditional, or just down right weird, seriously, whatever your ideas, I'm here to help you make it happen!  I'm still waiting on the ABBA themed wedding, costume is ready to go!

And as for location, I'm all in!  I've 4 wheel drived through some gnarly bush tracks to get to destinations, I've walked beaches to remote caves, and I've scaled down rocky hillsides to get to hidden waterfalls that lie right on the edge of the world.   I've married couples in caravan parks, gaol ruins, backyards, at the top of mountains as well as luxury wedding venues.  

When you book me, you are not just getting a celebrant - you are gaining an extra support person and friend.  A support person who is available anytime to answer questions, calm nerves or be a sounding board for any concerns you might have leading up to your wedding day.  And a friend that is truly invested in making sure your ceremony is everything you dreamed of.   I love when couples call me just to talk about their wedding progress, and I'm always so excited when I get sent sneak peak pics of wedding outfits, flowers, ceremony decor - seriously, this is the stuff I live for lol!  There are no limitations on the number of meetups, calls or emails we have, my priority is to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed right up until your big day.   So when I say I am there for you, they're not just empty words, I really am there for you!
